Do i have bipolar disorder?

ok well like im not shure if I have bipolar but anyways im always mad and then I end up fighting with my mom and dad and the stupidest stuff makes me so madd..

isn't bipolar more of when you have big mood swings, not just being really mad?

Yeh bi-polar is like when your mad one min and then the next min your like extramley happy

well you could be my mom has mad bi polar and 1min she will be mean then like forget she was mad and be happy check with a doctor with that you might be. or maybe your just like that cause of hormones.

It doesn't sound like it, but if you are very concerned, consult a doctor.

It's easy to mistake it for hormones.. especially if you are in your teens. I'm often like that =] If you are still worried about it.. if you don't find it too hard then talk to your parents about it.

Ok just to say bipolar is where you either are really happy or really mad! Never in between. Like riding a roller coaster of emotions. Being mad is ok sometimes just try to prevent it to think about the situation. Or just get your mind on something else.

Being exremely mad could be from a serious other problem or trauma you have suffered and never resolved. It doesn't have to mean you are bi-polar. I used to be angry at the world. It was because my dad never let me do anything alone as I grew up and I looked like the nerd to everyone else. That made me extremely angry. Other things my mom should've kept quiet about also kept me from loving her. Or it could be you are going to bed extremely late and never catch up on much needed sleep. Sleep deprivation is a big mood changer.

NO you don't have bipolar, I have bipolar so know the symptoms and what its like to have mood swings, and they aren't normal mood swings that people perceive mood swings to be, bipolar is much more complicated. Looking at your age I think you are just a teenage girl with raging hormones arguing with her parents, like many teenage girls do. Please don't try to diagnose yourself. Bipolar is a life long mental health condtion and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. If you think this is more than just you going through your teenage years then go see your doctor.
