yes
that miniscule amount of food is not enough to sustain your body for a day
and its not enough to survive on
an eating disorder is when you take drastic action to loose weight or take control over your weight
starving yourself and throwing up after meals are both forms of eating disorders
and your clearly starving yourself because you think your fat
to get over this you need to get help
and actually yell someone you have an eating disorder and how you feel about yourself
because if other people dont know about it, they cant help you
also see a dcotor and get your bmi (body mass index) calculated for your height and weight
he/she will be able to tell you what weight range your in
and how much you need to loose or gain if your not in the healthy weight range
because its very likley that your obesseing over nothing are that your weight is actually perfetly normal
you need to be eating at least 2000 calories a day
1000 is on the brink of starving yourself
and a cookie and some noofles is a lot lower than 1000 calories, so clearly your starving your body and depriving it of much needed nurtients
after you talk to a doctor try to stop comparing youself to unrealistic and edited images
like people im magazines, music videos, the media, celebrities andmodels
models are told to look anorexic
and everythong else has beeing digitally edited, airbrushed, photoshopped and is wearing fake tan and layers of makeup to make themselves appear what most people consider beautiful

your friend might just have a fast metabolism
or might exerscise it all off
its also due to genetics were she stores her fat and what her body shape is
what you need to realsie though it that your friend is not you
there will always be skinner people than you and fatter people than you
most of those people are a normal weight for there age and height
aome are underweight and some are obese or overweight
as I said though
the best thing would be to see a dcotor and get your bmi calculated so you can actually find out if your underweight or overweight
and how much you need to loose or gain if your not in the healthy weight range
also you need to be eating more and includinga lot more things in your diet
like carbs from pasta and meats like beef, pork, chicken and fish

my sister is also a vegetarian, and it is perfectly acceptable. I'm also trying to be a vegetarian, because of the health benefits of not eating animals. (it's hard sometimes).

yeah but if you are vegetarian it is very important that you eat a variety of different foods to compensate for the nutrients you aren't eating in animal products. You should try new tings too. You mentioned you liked chinese... try some thai food. they make lots of vergetarian dishes that are delicious. You gotta remember that being vegetarian doesn't mean you have to only eat salad. Pastas are good for vegetarians. Also you can eat mexican food if you substitute out the meat for beans (taco bell takes this request all the time).

What is your exercise like? You actually might weight like 115 pounds and still be fat. Because skinny people can be fat too if they don't have any lean muscle. You probably don't want to do any cardio because you probably don't weigh a whole lot, but if you work on building muscles by doing pushups, crunches, leg lifts, etc. you will gain some muscle while losing the fat, which will cause you gain weight, but you will look thinner and healthier. It basically moves all your lumpy parts to the places they belong.

I don't think you've got an eating disorder, it just sounds like you aren't hungry because you don't enjoy your food. Try some new things, or the same things cooked differently.

I suggest going to goveg.com to look for vegetarian recipes for almost anything.

at 13 you should weigh closer to 100 or a bit more. My sister is really really skinny and looks sick, (because of a thyroid problem) she is 16 and only weighs 95 pounds (also vegetarian). she's about 5 feet 2-3 inches.

you could stand to gain some weight. I still encourage you to try new foods and try to build muscle instead of trying to lose weight muscle will make you be really healthy without looking fat and bulky.

if you only eat very small meals, try to eat more times a day. Eat more fruit... it's delicious. It has nutrients in it.. Try not to eat Ramen noodles too much instead of other foods because they are just empty calories that turn straight to fat without giving you any energy. Or mix in some veggies (whatever kind you like) or eggs (if you eat eggs... tofu if you don't).

it is possible that you have an eating disorder, but you don't seem to be obsessed with losing weight, rather just don't think you look good because you're not tone. People with ED's tend to be obsessed with some imaginary number of pounds they want to weigh...

well it might be possible seeing as though there are lots of nutrients in them that growing kids need
but since your a vegetarian you can still eat a lot of carbs and dairy products like milk and cheese, you can also eat fruit andd nuts, ect
a quick google search can find you thousands of vegetarian recipes
tofu is another food you might like to try

well yeah ramen isn't bad for you... but there are no nutrients in them... lots of people who eat a lot of ramen, and not a lot of anything else end up getting scurvy.

Are you not eating to stay skinny, or do you usually have minute appetites?
If you have an eating disorder and you're eating under 1,000 calories, chances are you'll end up gaining weight.

Maybe it just means you need to find something really yummy.
I'm sorry, I'm 13 but I have the spirit of a little kid. It's the same with me sometimes, but I really don't want to stay short so I force feed myself and feel like vomiting after...
Don't force feed, you'll feel horrid after. Just find something yummy and get used to eating nutritios stuff afterwards. happy
