Do i have a eating dissorder?

Asked by fau 10 months ago, 7 answers.

this has been happening since 6th grade and I am currently a sophomore...5 years pretty much...but yeah

okay so this happens pretty much every time I eat...I eat what ever it is right and no more than maybe 20 minutes after I eat it I throw it back...

up...no it isn't a like huge nasty big omg I have the flu throw up...it just like fills my mouth but if I go to spit it out more comes up and I can't control this at all...my mom, dad, grandparents, siblings and my friends have all seen this happen and they have no idea what is wrong with me...I have gotten a ton of x-rays and seen multiple doctors about it and they can't explain it either, some doctors have even talked about having a camera go down my throat to see what the trouble is...I have no idea what on earth is going on but now I just accept it due to the fact that it has been going on for so long... but it is starting to effect my teeth and my esophagus and if I find out what is going on then maybe I can get it taken care of...I don't want to have to live with this for the rest of my life...please help me I want to know what you think

Megs,
I want you to DEMAND from the doctors a remedy for this..Sometimes you need to be very aggressive at getting help...TELL mom/dad family etc.. you want this problem fixed and if these doctors can't do it then you want to travel to other medical professionals that can give you results.. Another thing you could do is to contact your local TV stations and explain to them this problem you are and have been having..Tell them how nobody can fix it and ask them if they could do a story on you and your problem..Tell them you need exposure and maybe this would help. Pick the local stations you watch on TV call information in that city and ask for the phone number..call it and ask for the news department...Tell them you have a story for them..When they get on the phone spill your story to them...Good-luck!!

Your jaw could be displaced slightly too far back, exciting your gag reflex when you eat. Dentist could help?

Maybe its because your so used to doing it. Force yourself to keep it down try eating more solids then liquids because liquids seem to come up more. Maybe its a mix of acid reflux to I know when I eat and drink the liquid makes it come up more. Also try eating smaller meals maybe it will help keep it in your stomach.

An eating disoder means that you would be making yourself throw up on purpose like sticking your finger down your throat... if your are doing this seek help
...if your are not doing it to yourself you need to see a doctor becasue it is a medical problem.
