Do girls care about the hair on the pubic area?

I'm 17 years old and I am just becoming sexually active with my girlfriend. Before we get too into things I would like to know what I should do about my pubic area? Its not that hairy. I'm wondering what would be best.. To shave it all off or just keep...

The majority of girls prefer limited to no hair. From a hygiene perspective, there are benefits to shaving because pubic hairs absorb sweat and other such things and the hair can actually adopt an odour. In answer to your last question I would suggest that you just try to keep things well maintained down there. Don't let it grow too much, but do not feel the need to get rid of all of it.

In my case I just try to keep it shortish. Not to sound sleazy, but if my girlfriend wishes to do be physical with me, I like to show some respect and make sure that I am clean and hygienic. You can shave it if you want to (just be careful because it is a sensitive region), but there is no great need to eliminate all the hair. As a general rule, it is not a major concern anyway, but you will find that the majority of women prefer there to be less hair down there.
