Diy nose piercing?

Thats me.(: Asked by xstraightedgechicka24x about 1 year ago, 8 answers.

Like, I want to pierce my nose myself.
I need to know things like what gauge stud to use,
if I can numb it, etc.
How badly it's going to hurt.
Is it okay if I start with a clear stud,
b/c I have to hide it from my grandparents.

DON'T do it yourself. That's a good way to cause a lot of problems *increased chances of infection, more chances of it not healing properly, etc...*, and it'll hurt a lot more than it would if you got it done professionally. Be smart and get it done RIGHT by a PROFESSIONAL. I'm sure you'll be glad you did in the long run.

I would go and get it professionally done. They have special needles that take out the core where the jewelry sits. Plus this is a piercing that is easily infected. I wouldnt risk doing this myself.

It didnt hurt at all when I got my nose done, I got it done professionally but it didnt hurt.
Just if you do it make sure you put like a cork or something so you don't shuv the needle through to the other part...
You really dont need to numb it .. just do it quick it wont hurt at all
My bestfriend got hers done right in school
and she did it with an ear ring.
if you get a nose ring with the little curve at the bottom.. which is what mine was... its really hard to get in...
when you get it done professionally thats what ring they use and its so hard to get in because of the curve and that hurts really bad...

Don't be an idiot, do it professionally! And when you do get it done, how the heck are you going to hide it from your grandparents then? There will come a time when they have to see you in closer range.

Like, don't do it your self.
That right there is dumb.
Infection.
Plus, when your older, and you have to take it out for a job or something it looks like you have a really big black head.

my sister peirced my nose when I was 12 dude,

if you hold ice on the spot youre going to peirce for about 10 minutes and while you do that, soak the stud in alcohol,

then youll only feel a tiny pinchright when its coming out the other end.

I used a peircing stud from my moms ear.

its fine.

also, after you peirce it,

turn it a couple times every day for it to heal right
