Why isn't my disnetwork remote touchpad working?

I have to press very hard on some keys to change channels. I'm not sure how to fix this problem.

I've sad here for a few minutes pondering your title and what you're talking about. I've decided that you might be talking about your DishNetwork remote control.

There are two possible things that I can thing of that could be wrong with the remote. First, the batteries could be dying. Sometimes as the batteries in the remote die, it's harder and harder to control and have respond to you. Simply changing the batteries will fix it.

A second option is that the remote is actually dying (much less likely than the batteries). If changing the batteries doesn't work, contact DishNetwork and they will tell you how to get a replacement remote.

If you haven't had your remote for to long, or even if you had.
You can contact Dishnetwork's Customer support & speak with a Tech Support Rep.
They will determine if the problem lies within the remote or battery, usually if the remote is worn down of the keys, or corrosion is in the battery box, a new remote would be the best option.
