Why am i having brown discharge before my period?

I've been gettin this brownish discharge rite before my period for a couple dys now...I don't know why though, I have finger myself a couple fo nights ago but I don't know if thats the cuase, because maybe I couldve cut myself on accident? my nails arent...

so long but theyr not exactly short either ya knooo...but anyway I just want to know if thats normal? it doesnt smell bd or anything...it just smells a bit like blood but I don't know if thats normal :S

Brown discharge just means it's left over blood from your last period, every women gets it at one time or another, sometimes; before, after, or during their period. Brown is nothing to worry about, completely normal.
