Will blonde highlights look good in dark brown hair?

My hair is Dark Brown and I want to put blonde highlights in it. Will it change my hair a different color than what its supposed to be?

What? You want to put blonde hi-lites in your dark brown hair and you are wondering if it will change your hair color? Of course it will. Where ever you put the hi-lites, those pieces of your hair will be BLONDE. The rest of your hair will remain whatever you color you start with. Are YOU going to do this yourself or are you going to a proffesional to get it done? I recommend going to a proffesional since you are insure if your hair will be a different color.

no just make sure you use blonde dye from a beauty store by u...like here we have a sallys...dont use the stuff from the store or it wont turn the blonde you want it...have someone do it who knows what they are doing!

I have Very Dark hair and I put blonde highlights in mine.[[ I got it professionaly done]] It Turned out Kinda light at first but After a couple of times that I washed it the color faded and it looked really nice [=
