I tried south beach diet. it has so many restrictions the 1st week but I did lose a bit, but I always felt hungry. instead of doing a diet, change your life style. I gave up all junk food and all fried food. only once a month I would have a scoop of ice-cream. its hard at 1st too give up the junk but its worth, it trust me. I starting eating smaller portions and eating more fruits and veggies. I started to exercise starting 3 times a week the 1st month. now I workout everyday. depending if I have the time. little by little I started shedding the pounds. I'm 5 ft and large framed. I once weighed 168. Now I'm 131 and I been that way for over a year. Took me 5 months to lose the weight but its different for everyone. I went from a size 15 to a 5. All I did was make healthy choices and yeah I have a bag a chips now a days but only half the bag and save the rest for another day. Good luck.
