Did you know that when you look at the sun...

When you look at the sun (which isn't recommended) you aren't actually looking at the sun now...you are looking at the sun as it was 8 minutes ago!!!

It takes 8 mins for the light from the sun to reach earth...so your seeing the sun as it was 8 mins ago.

I never thought about that! I did hear that the light from our nearest star left that star at the time of the Vikings. Mind-boggling.
