Did this ever happen to you

All morning I have been rushing around making a Ham, pot. Cassrole, pasta salad, beens, desert and my in-laws were supposed to be here at 1 pm. Well at 1;40 my husband called them.
They forgot, now I know his mother is getting bad with remembering but...

this is a first for his dad.
So now lunch is ready and no one to serve it to. GRRR

aren't they coming anyway? if they were going to be there 40 mins ago, it almost isn't much of a time change. Shouldn't they still come?

I can't say that Ive had that happen. But I have done the whole run around mad getting everything ready for holdiay meal by a certain time, then an hour or two before the time change. My husbands grandfather has terminal cancer. We were supposd to get together today at noon, but he wasn't feeling well this morning and wanted to wait till after his nap, so it's now at 2. Although I perfectly understand it's like man, I could of slowed down, slept in, done so much more!!

They are coming but now the food has been done for over an hour. I was expecting them at 1pm and now it is after 2.
