Yes. The cost of a U.S. postage stamp has gone up to 44 cents. But, they will honor the 'forever' stamp, worth 42 cents. The 'forever' stamp is the one that has the liberty bell on it and says 'forever' on the side. To use the stamps you already bought, you'll just have to go to the Post Office and buy some 2 cent stamps to add to them.

Did the price go up for stamps?
I am trying to send a letter to an inmate at the county jail. Can I still use 42cent stamps or does it need to be at least 44cents now?
