well like a couple of weeks ago I fingered my girlfriend and last night we were talking and she said it kinda hurt a lil when I fingered her and when she got home there was a lil blood... does this mean I popped her cherry?

popped her cherry is a phrase that is misleading. Women have a small amount of tissue on the outside of the vagina that partially covers it - It's called the Hymen. When something is inserted the hymen will stretch or tear to accommodate it, which can cause bleeding.

She might feel pain and experience bleeding next time too and most likely the first time she has sex since a penis is larger than fingers. Most women will have some remnant of their hymen until giving birth vaginally.

yes, virginity is a spiritual attribute - not a physical one. You could tear and stretch her hymen like crazy but until she has penile - vaginal penetration she's still considered a virgin in American culture.
