some people are just not phone people. it's a bit different being next to them opposed to being on the phone. it's easier and more natural to respond to someone and talk when you are in person, I have that, I can ring my boyfriend and we have nothing to say to each other, but when we are together we have a good time. if he acts natural around you then I wouldn't say there is a porblem, but if he acts weird with you in person then maybe he isn't as interested as you think??
