You are 100% correct there, so this is actually a cloud with a silver lining. You can consider your diabetes an automatic jerk filter, lol. Rather than it lessening your chances at finding a nice guy, it will narrow your chances to the ones who actually count - the ones with substance and integrity.

I've had type 1 diabetes for 4 1/2 years. I was wondering about this earlier but do you think that being diabetic would ruin my chances with a guy? I think that the average guy would be cool with it but I'm worried that later in life one guy might be a...
jerk about it and not want 2 be around me. now that I've had it for a while I've learned to live with it and I don't always say why me anymore...but I'm still a little scared that being diabetic could ruin my chances. And I do know that the guy who did that who would be a jerk. Thanks...
