I usually try to talk to my partner about it first, but I usually like to call up my mum and talk to her about it. My mum also suffers from depression, but she was only diagnosed and medicated about a year ago, even though she's suffered from bouts of depression for about 20 years. If I can't get hold of her, I usually have a wee chat to Danbob. He's always prepared to make time for me, and I hope I repay the favour to him when he needs it.

Depending on your age and who you live with, you should go to your parents, or someone particularly close to you, and ask them to help you seek professional help. Talking to a therapist or even a psychiatrist is a great outlet for expressing all of the feelings you don't want to express to people you really know. And the best thing about seeing a therapist or a psychiatrist is that they have client privacy laws. Nothing you say can or will be revealed unless you say something suggesting that you want to kill or hurt you or somebody else, or that you are in immediate danger. And depending on age, they might tell you parents if you are abusing drugs or alcohol. I see both a therapist and a psychiatrist, and it has helped me a ton.
Good luck, and I hope you get to feeling better!

CALL SAMARITANSS.
It really helps to talk to someone impartial, and they're really supportive.

Uhh, I would call my girlfriend. Because she means a lot to me, and she would listen to what I have to say; trying to help me feel better. but if its some kind of depresion about my girlfriend, then I would talk to one of my closest friends who I trust and talk to a lot.
