You sound VERY immature and moody, and kind of really stupid. You dumped him because someone you don't know on a reality tv program got eliminated?

Whole new level of wow.

As harsh as reb1312's answer seems, he is absolutely correct. This is extremely immature. To brighten up, I recommend that you right the wrongs that you yourself have caused. I would give a deep apology to your now ex-boyfriend and explain to him what was frustrating you. You need to look at reality television in a different way and not get attached to the contestants. Talk to your ex-boyfriend and tell him that your actions were extreme and wrong and that you know that he was just trying to understand. You need to work on your temper and level of provocation because this (even for someone at your age) is remarkably immature.

Just repair the damage that you caused and talk to your ex-boyfriend about it all, because it is his business (especially now that he has been dumped as a result of it). Just work on your mood a little bit and try to be more casual with programs such as these. Remember that these people get eliminated for a reason and just because you liked them doesn't mean everybody else has to. In fact it would be selfish if he were to remain on the show if people preferred the others. It is normal to get a bit hooked, but not like this. This person has probably gained a lot of fame from the show so maybe he will still get somewhere from the experience; think about that. Just try to reduce your level of attachment to things like this and I'm sure this won't happen again in the future.

yeh thank you. my boyfriend is a very forgiving person but I think I'll leave it till tonight to tell him I'm sorry. I'm enjoying the peace. he's always on my computer games I have. I am a little calmer now. many people who come 2nd in x factor nrly always make an album nyway. I just guess I was a little over the top.

Yep he'll get somewhere if he has the talent and so you have nothing to worry about. I wouldn't 'expect' him to forgive you so don't focus too much on that. The first step is letting him know that you're sorry and that you want to make things right again. After that I hope for you both he comes back and this doesn't happen again. Hope you two can put it all behind you happy!
