How do you delete your history in search engines?

How do you delete search history in google and sites like that? As I don't want my little sister to be exposed to what sites I go onto. Does anyone know?

Try this. Click on the options button on your Google tool bar. In the options tab, uncheck the 'drop down search history box' and then apply and ok. Then go back and re-check the same box and apply then ok. When you click the drop down again the history should be gone.

If you have a google search bar in the toolbar of your browser all you need to do is right click on the search bar and choose 'Clear History' in the drop down menu.

on mine, you go to 'tools' then 'delete browsing history'
