Delete administrator account on pc?

I bought a PC from a friend and want to delete her account and make me administrator. I can't even open control panel to go to user accounts to change it.Any advice?

you need to get her password and change your profile to administrator and take her privleages away and then get on yours and delete hers

To delete it follow this simple instruction: (THINK FIRST IF IT IS APPLICABLE)

1. Boot on safe mode (pressing F8 continuously while booting the pc)
2. When black screen appears, select SAFE MODE using arrow keys.
3. The the LOG SCREEN will appear(IT MUST HAVE 2 account, the ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT and NAME OF ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT of your friend.
4. LOG ON TO ADMINISTRATOR...
5. Then open the CONTROL PANEL and delete his/her ACCOUNT and create new ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT using your OWN NAME if ever.
