Degus; wierd(more like wired) habbits

I just got these 3 degus the other day. they slept fine the first night, but now they wont sleep. the one just keeps flipping in circle trying to get out and clings to the wire top. its really loud and annoying and I don't know what to do. they aren't...

even supposed to be awake at night. I can't sleep if they all keep making so much noise, but they have to stay in my room.

HELP!

I looked it up on the internet and there was a lot of good info about Degus's. It was under Excotic Pets. They only live 5-8 years and you are right they should not be active at night. I would look at some of the sites and see what you can search about them. I hope nothing is wrong.

Maybe they are like other animals, and it just takes a week or so to aclimate to a new place?
