Def jam icon "my soundtrack" help

Ok, So for Def Jam Icon on Xbox 360, is there a way to Use a Lil' Wayne Song for example and select Hip-Hop for it and then if I was fighting my friend, he would select Disturbed. Could he pick rock for the type while mine is Hip-Hop?

Yes you should be able to each select your own My Soundtrack.
