There a lot of contraversy over what mite happen that day. The aztec calander ends dec. 21 2012 and three or four other people from the past that were not connected to them said that dec 12 2012 would be the last day. According to the bible, no man...

knows the day of christs return, but it's hard to argue with what so many prophets said.

Like you said, only God knows - also remember He said in the last days there are many false prophets...but if it's 12/12/2012, I'm Heaven-bound, Amen !!

I don't believe in any of this, especially not god. I don't think the world is really going to end in 2012, that's what people said about 6/6/6 and hey, where still here. Christ was also supossed to come in the year 2000, he didn't...

who knows what was contained in the OTHER MAYAN TEXTS that were destroyed by the catholic church, the explanation of the mayan calender (the dresden codex) I believe survived by accident- it got stashed away somewhere and forgotten.

uhm no it isnt... it's very easy to ignore what prophets said. Especially when you dont believe in prophets.

They didn't actually say the world would be destroyed that day. The translation says that its going to be a new era.

2012 will be a dawning of Universal consciousness that is to be awakened...an awaking of the 3rd eye.
It’s not so much the end of the world but is
considered a Re-birth. This is what the
Mayans believed...a new beginning. I do not agree
with this school of thought. Since my
extensive studies of 2012 (Mayans), Hermetics (which
contains the Law of Attraction),
Master's Key, Esoteric thought, Freemasonry, The
invisible College, Ancient Mystery
Schools, Conspiratorial Knowledge, Eastern/Western
Religion, Sacred Geometry, Hypnosis and
NLP have led me to Understand one universal
connection regarding these different areas
thought...that is that they are all intertwined.
What’s interesting is as you delve further
down the rabbit hole you become enlightened as to
what their over all message is trying to
convey. Which is you are the Master of your own
life...you can become God. This Key teaching
is Lucifernarism. Who is Lucifer? He was God's
highest and most beautiful angel at one
time until he decided that he would become God. This
is what led him to fall from heaven and
to be banished for all eternity with 1/3 of the
angels that followed his ideals and
rebellion. Ever since this happened his main focus
and goal has been to deceive the minds of
God's creation which is you, me and everyone else.
This Universal Consciousness that we are
on the brink of is to welcome the ONE that will
provide Hope, Change and promise peace
for a New World Order (Re-birth). But through this
re-birth will come perilous times (which I
believe to be the tribulation as stated in the
Bible). There is only one way to attain this
New World Order which is through Ordo ab Chao, Latin
for Order out of Chaos...the motto of
the 32 and 33 degree Freemason. Contemplate our
world right now with what is taking
place...economic collapse, global warming (is but a
means of Secular Terminology with
deceiving tactics to explain to the world that this
indeed is the problem. When in fact
these are the signs given by the Lord of his soon
triumphant return.), rioting, aids, and
the list goes on. I am firm believer that our
generation will see the return of Jesus (but as the
Bible state, “No man shall know the time or the
hour”. Which I do not. My spirit just knows and
feels what draws nigh) . Its
up to you to wake from your slumber and open your
mind to what is taking place among
you and your world. Do not be deceived by the
One who has already taken the stage...if
you are a Free Thinker then you know who I speak of.
If not, then now is the time to start
researching and making yourself aware of what is
taking place is this world. There is much
disinformation out there...do not let down your
guard and be swayed. How do you allow
yourself not to be swayed away...research after
research finding credible evidence which
will soon provide you with the Truth. That’s the
Key. There are many paths to follow but
there is only that leads to safety and His name is
Jesus. Never forget that. What has been
stated has Not been stated to cause fear in your
hearts...it has been stated to shed light
and direction of where you must walk. Your at
crossroad...choose your path wisely and
