Death note film

now I'm not really the biggest fan of japanese manga/anime whatever stuff...
But I do enjoy their horror films so I gave Death Note a chance..
Turned out to be rather AMAZING and my dad even really enjoyed it..which is very rare.
The only problem for...

me was the 'God of Death' cartoon..was a bit too urm cartoon? And probably needed to be a tad scarier..
So what do you guys think of the film and the cartoon god of death?
I heard there is meant to be an American remake next year? Reckon they'll keep the cartoon aspect?

I really enjoyed it too, I saw it with a friend who liked it so much he named his cat L. LOL

The American remake is going to be live-action, so not cartoon.

I loved the reaper he was so cool and it was wierd a reaper liking red apples I was thinking that we would love something eles but that white and blue god of death her was just wierd I think he was scary and I have the epsiodes dvd box set and all three films they are so great
