no but I did hear if they don't decay there hair still grows and so does their finger nails
nope, no shrinking
it just slowly decays and withers away
all the flesh will start to dissapear slowly
aslo the hair and that doesent actually keep growing
when you die, your body, and face looses all the moisture and everything
which causes it (in small part) to shrink
not in the way you think though
not like a shrunkern head! lol
and when it does this, some hair is pushed out of your head, so it looks like its grown a bit
the same with th fingernails
what looks like shrinking is actually just loss of moisture and fluids
I know when I first saw a person in a casket I wondered the same thing. What causes that si the fact that all bodily fluids are drained from the body. A small amount of embalming fluid is put back in but no where near the same amount that is taken out.
No, hair and nails do not grow after a person dies. What you are seeing is, again, from the fluids being removed from the body. The skin draws back making it look like they have grown.
