Dangerous gases underwater

Asked by annaneedshelp 4 months ago, 2 answers.

Are there dangerous gases carried in underwater caves?

Im writing a graphic novel, and this is my story line. I sort of need to know this, however it is not manditory.

yes it is possible, if say a crack under the cavern let volcanic gas... there's a name but im not sure, anyway that gas can add up in the top of the cave poisoning anything that where to breath it. plus if its slowly bubbling up and a fish swims through it would also die!

bashful is right, theres a lot of methane in the sea, I have a feeling he only knows that from the discovery channel tho.. ... haha
but any gasses that come from the ground can potentially be in a cave, more specifically a cavern because a cave vents better.
