does it matter if you don't dance original dances?

Does it matter if you don't dance original dances such as brake dancing, ballroom dancing, tango? But make up your own dance steps and dances?

Theres nothing wrong with making up your own dance style, being original is good.

All the dance styles that you mentioned had to start somewhere; it was from people making up their own steps.

dancing is a way to exspress yourself so if you feel your exspressin then your doin it right theres no right or wrong to dancing people just have certain ways to dance and you never kknow, you might start a new dance or movement

However, if you want to dance with a partner, it is a bit difficult if the two of you don't practice together.
After all, to most people, dancing is a social event.
