Dancing, should my boyfriend be so mad?

I went to this dance and my boyfriend that I have been going out with for almost a year didnt go,and this random guy that I will probably never see again asked me to dance.So I danced with him to have some fun,lol,and like I guess my boyfriend found out and now he is really mad at me.Is that a stupid thing to get mad about? I mean like...I dont even know the guy!Tell me the truth

of course thats something to get mad about, but you shouldnt feel too bad about it surprisingly. guys are very protective, and you need to talk with your boyfriend(civil conversation, dont yell under any circumstances) and explain to him that you didnt know the guy and just wanted to have some fun. if he doesnt take this explanation, defend it, dont make anything up, and theres no need to embellish your current story just to satisfy him.

I did say to him that I am really sorry,and that I wont do it again~and I tried to at least hug him and he like walked away.No Joke!
