Dance help?

ugh.
so my mom is going to pay for Tap classes
and my dad is only going to pay for 1 class
and its between ballet or jazz
im 13 years old and I lovvee to dance,,...if I could do demi pointe I would but
tell me what you think
should I do ballet or...

jazz...and if you had the chance ..would you do demi pointe???

hmmm. I love ballet. I also like jazz a lot... that is a tough decision but if you like more upbeat things then you should do jazz but if you like more graceful dancing then you should do ballet.

I'm co-captain of my high school dance team and this year we're trying jazz for the first time. From the moment our choreographer started teaching us the steps, I fell in love with it. When I was was a little girl I took ballet classes for a year and didn't really enjoy it. The way I feel about it is that ballet takes years of training to convey an emotion to the audience. With jazz, however, you could begin entertaining your friends and family in a matter of months. Being able to perform would probably give you more motivation to continue. Hope that helps! happy
