Removing the cyst isn't that big of a procedure in most cases, but if your cyst is in your ovary and not on the outside of it, I'm not sure. If you want to have a healthy pregnancy, I would do what the doctor tells you to. Not only that, but if the cyst ruptures its going to hurt. Trust me, I've had it happen to me. However, considering that most of us on here aren't doctors and aren't familiar with your medical records, the best person to ask is your doctor. It is a doctors job to answer all of your questions and concerns, and to explain the pro's and con's of the procedure. Don't be afraid to talk to him/her about what's on your mind.

Go for the surgery...there are health risks to letting it there for too long. As for conceiving, anything is possible and you do have another ovary that will keep producing eggs so having a baby will still be possible.
