if we were to have sex, what are his chances of dumping me?

So my boyfriend and I have been together for more 9.5 months. We are getting an apartment together. Once we hit our 1 year anniversary is when that'll be. I'm a virgin and he's a virgin. If we were to have sex now or on/after our 1yr what are his chances of just dumping me?

I've heard that most men will wait for a long time if they think you'll be a good piece. We've talked about sex openly and uses statements like, 'When we have sex... (Fill in blank)...' I think he is ready for it. I'm ready for it but I'm afraid of getting pregnant. Like I said it would be the first time for the both of us.

that you wont get pregnant.
and if you guys have been together for a year,
I dont think he wil dump you just for sex.

or do you just want to have sex in a hope that it will keep you together?
men like girls who wait but really they are just happy waiting for the girl untill shes ready...no matter how long or short that time amount is.
I would advise you to think about this some more
not every relationship works out, no matter what you think you could do to save it
so if you both have sex and later break up you could un up with a regret
so think about it first
dont just have sex to keep your relationship going
and as for getting pregnant thats what condoms are for
they protect you against both pregnancy and sti/stds if used right
theres also many other forms of contraception and birth control you and him can also use
so search around, google things
learn about stds, pregnancy, contracpetion and birth control
learn how you could get them, what they do, how effective they are, ect
and try to learn whats a myth and whats a fact

Erm, sex is great, I know a lot about it. if he has been with you this long he wont dump you when you have sex.

hey if your boyfriend has been with you this long and you both support eachother in not having sex that is amazing I really think that he will stay with you especially after moving in together and being with eachother so long...and about the pregnant thing you know my situation since you answered me thanks by the way condoms birth control are great ways to prevent if you use them correctly ...and just enjoy your realtionship together so far from what you wrote it seems like its real good luck and keep in touch -dani

I'm not thinking about haveing sex to keep our relationship together that's a stupid reason to have sex at all; but we both think we are ready. Um as far as birth control and STD's you make me sound like I am ignorant to the knowledge of such things. I am on the pill dear. And I know all about STD's and such.
