Crazy dog or what?

Ok I have a mini dachshund and I swear she crazy but I don't know! She runs around and hits walls she thinks she can fly she barks at her shadow she leans to one side when she barks she bites at my feet when I sleep she sleeps with her head on the pillow...

like a human and we don't know if we should get her checked out or not she it very aggresive about a pillow on the couch she knows how to start the lawn mower and she likes to jump up and the air after planes that pass by please help me and my dog !!!

I think this is to do with behaviour more than anything, but get her checked if your concerned.

Does this dog go for regular long walks?

If not then I'm afraid to say I believe this is a problem that stems from a lack of physical (and possible mental) excercise. Lot's of dogs will find things to occupy them and burn energy when they are bored and have too much energy. Try and take her out daily for a tiring walk and see if the behaviour improves. If it doesn't after a week or so of good physical excercise (not just half hearted walks) then I would take her to the vet.

Also it sounds as though your dog is going into what is referred to as 'redzone' about certain things. Like her fixation with certain objects seems very extreme and althogh good physical excercise will help this might need a little extra work.
