Could my real boyfriend please stand up!

My boyfriend and I just started dating about a week ago. He has bugged me for awhile about us being together and finally I agreed. Him and I talked everynight before we got together and now that we are a couple he seems to rarely call me. Everytime I want to do something he never has time or he is busy. I feel like he doesn't want to be with me but why put me through the trouble for all those times when he wanted me? I love talking to the boy and being around him and thats why I want to be around him. So, do you guys think he is a waste of my time, he is just being a typical guy, or what? I'm confused!

sit him down and talk to him about it. tell him how you feel and ask him how he feels about you.

First of all there is no typical guy...they are all different. But some people, including women are more excited by the chase. This may be his characteristic. If this is his characteristic he will never be happy with a committed relationship. But because he is so young he may learn that this characteristic must not continue. You can help him by telling him what you expect from him. To call you...set a time and day...to spend time with you...set a time and day...make him aware what you want. If he cannot do this, then you don't except less and move on. This can also be a lesson for you...you never allow yourself to be treated badly and to get what you want you need to say what it is you want.
