Could i be pregnant?

I had my baby on October 9th, 2007 and at my 6 weeks check up I had the Mirena IUD put in. Well, about a month after on December 2oth I had it removed because it was lodged. I was put on Yaz but only took for 3 days because it could make my milk supply...

low, I am breastfeeding. After the IUD removal I bled like a period for 3-4 days, with bad cramping and diarrhea. Then, about a week later had bad cramps like I was going to have my period again and weird thick, brown, snot like discharge only 2 times. I have had sex with my husband unprotected while on the IUD. Should I be concerned?

If you had sex while on the IUD chances are you aren't pregnant. While the sperm can live inside a female for days... hormonal birth control such as IUD cause a hostile environment for semen, so sperm doesn't live for long.

Your body is going through a lot of changes with the starting and stopping or hormonal birth control options, so it's a little confused and irregular bleeding is normal.

However if you suspect a pregnancy it's always a good idea to get a pregnancy test. And if your period isn't back on track in the next few cycles, you should see your health care physician again.

I think you should really get into the docs sounds like you have an infection to me. xx

What I would reccomend since this is medical like behavior is that you see a doctor, and make sure you tell him everything you listed there, you could be pregnant, you never know, I would consider possibly taking a test, and informing your doctor about an other possible treatments, good luck. :]
