It depends... sometimes they could go to the hospital first, if it is really bad they may have to feed the person with an I've. Once they are stabalized, they could either get outpatient care or inpatient care at a place that specializes in eating disorders. The difference is a hospital only keeps you till your stabalized. They're not a long term treatment facility...
em I'm not too sure but there is clinics for it where people go to get better properly, I think its kind of like rehab..but dont take my word on that!
but I know of someone that was anorexic and got sent to hospital
so im not really sure if its a choice or what the deal is
but the hospital didnt help the girl at all because when she got out she went straight back to the way she was

I was admitted to a hospital first for a month then I was moved to an eating disorders program for 2 months.
but it dus depend on how sick you are

Im really confused about this...if a person has a serious eating disorder and they have to be admitted somewhere do they go to a hospital or an eating disorder clinic?? What's the diffrence between them?? Or is it a choice??
