Confused

I've been going out with this guy for slightly more than 2 years. Overall it's been great. Most of the time we did long term relationship thing, but we pretty much live together 4 days out of 7. It started to feel like marriage a little, lifted toilet...

seat, opened toothpaste cap, clothes all over the apartment....etc. It normally passes as a joke all the time.

I've moved to a new city and I don't have any friends here yet, so all I do is go to work and come back home after, call him, go to sleep. Pretty dull. Does that make me kind of uninteresting in his eyes. Cause recently I feel this tension between us and I hate to turn like one of those nagging wifelike girlfriends. I know I should do something about it, but it just kills my motivation when I hear his dull voice on the phone.

Anyway, I do love him and I don't want to throw away what we have it's just that we need some kind of energy boost I guess, something to bring us to our sences, whatever that is, I have no idea.

Also, how do I make a guy stop consulting his mum about every little thing. I mean it was kind of cute at first but started to become annoying. I know it's the my mom thing, especially since his parent were divorced and he's been living with his mom and 2(!!!) sisters. But don't they just ever get over that mommy dearest phase?
