Not sure if he likes me back

ok so at school there is this guy that I like a lot but im not sure if he likes me. he's only in one of my classes and in the hall and in class I feel like he's always looking at me. he smiles at me a lot too. is this a sign that he likes me? im going to ask him if he likes me but I wanted to know what you guys thought first.

Usually if a guy takes him time of day to come talk to you and smiles at you, then he finds you attractive and fun. So yes most likely, he likes you.
