Why dont people like communism? Like the United States wants to destroy it in other contries

The government owns and dictates everything with dissent not allowed...hmmm, sounds familiar...

What is the point in living without freedom? Freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and actual ownership.

Communism is an economic not a political system.

Communist governments can be democratic and capitalist governments can be autocratic.

Because of the constant stream of propaganda by the right wing and industrialists during the red scare most Americans still think in terms of communism vs freedom and democracy.

The US has supported some rather unsavory governments simply because they were anti-Communist and we have opposed some popular democratically elected leftist leaders in Central America. While the US talks up democracy what our government really promotes seems to be capitalism.

Many of the most shrill political voices today seem to think that any increase in regulation or taxes on anyone is part of an inevitable slide to totalitarian communism.

just study the history of communist regimes, note what happened to the general population. think about the people that want to live here in the USA. remember the people that are willing to risk their lives to get to live in America? I think you need to ask them.
