faithful and wanting to committ to him when that's not his interest. I was thinking about going and meeting other people what should I do?

I would take a break from him.. maybe see other people.
I broke up with my fiance after dating over a year and half and when my daughter was 2 months old. I haven't dated anyone yet and I'm not particularly comfortable dating right now.
Honestly.. if you guys are always off and on, for whatever reasons, then it's probably good to evaluate the relationship and talk to him about commitment because if it's not going to happen then you don't need to waste your time like you said.
