Commenting photos

Why do people want their photos commented so bad?
Like when someone adds me they say can you comment my pics?
Why do they do that? The way I see it, is if someone likes my picture, they'll comment it. I'm not gonna beg them...

Just wondering...=)

-They are desperate for attention
-They see it as a popularity contest
-They want to know what people think about them
-It makes them feel better about themselves when they see good comments

There's tons of reasons - and they are all just as sad as the other one.

Maybe they feel better about themselves, or like they want to show it off or something... I don't like when people say that to me lol because I'll comment on them if I like them!!

I feel exactly the same. I guess people just like attention.

Maybe it's because they want to look more popular if a lot of people have commented on their pics.
I know I find it annoying too lol
I guess people just want to feel more secure maybe? like so they feel liked and they have a lot of picture comments =/

they always want you to comment the photos which they have called fat or summat like that

and there always really skinny ... and im like wtf ?

Desperate for attention... insecure... its a form of self-gratification...

maybe because they are self absorbed into themselves...want the attention, or insecure about them selves.

I think it's highly annoying and then I feel like I have to make something up because their pictures are crappy.
