Try to get your friend to eat 5 small rather than 3 larger meals every day. This should help to keep her blood sugar levels stable and her mood on an even keel. Also drinking water when she thinks she is hungry might help her. A visit to her GP could be very helpful just to talk but her doctor may feel her needs medication. But this is something she should discuss and not be fobbed off with. I hope she has a sympathetic GP. Best wishes.
