No! Never do more than one color change that quick, or even within a few days! Wait weeks before doing multiple changes! It's baaad...

I wouldn't suggest it - you have to let your hair settle for a bit. Most people say wait weeks but I personally would only wait one week, its the longest I've ever waited and I've never had problems. Just be sure you are conditioning your hair daily and leave the conditioner in for a good 5-10 minutes so your hair is getting the proper nutrients.

Now, what do you mean by highlight? If you are talking about bleaching, then, yes, it's okay to put a dye on after. If you could, it would be better to wait a few days, because the dye will do better if the hair hasn't just been washed.

I am a licensed cosmetologist and it is okay to color your hair after you bleach it. In fact, that is what you're supposed to do. Sometimes the dye is called is a 'toner' because it tones down the yellowish color to the color you want to have. I'm curious as to why you want to use brown though. But I have to say to 'Never color it, then Highlight'

People use the words 'Highlighting' and 'coloring' loosely. Please do research before doing anything to alter your hair. I would never ask a question like yours on a site like this (as much as I like this site) because most people are not professionals here.

Either go to somewhere like Clairol.com or go to a salon and have your hair done. Clairol.com has videos on haircoloring. I just checked.
Good luck to you,
Carol

My daughter does hair and when she does mine she will do both at the same time. She uses foil on the highlighted sections then uses the normal color on the rest of it.
