go volunteer at your local humane society, for one
yaaa I agree with the other person.
im going 2 be a freshman 2 and volunteer work is a must.
also get more involoved with some clubs at your school and maybe research a few other colleges and maybe some scholarships or something
Any volunteer work is good in and out of the field that you are interested in. They also want to know like outside of school work as far activities. For example if you enjoy writing, reading, drawing, sports. That's well-rounded something that you can bring to the school other that just brain power. Good Luck.
Yes - ensure you're taking the right courses now that will prepare you for your college major...I wish you the best !!
Join a speech and/or debate team. Volunteer and an animal shelter or clinic.

This year I am going to be a freshman in highschool. Life is going by so fast and I am already starting to worry about college and my future. I want to become a veterinarian when I'm older. I heard that Texas A&M had a good veterinary program and so does LSU. My mom received a letter from Texas A&M that said they were considering me for a scholorship. However, they said I have to keep my grades up and I need to be more "well rounded". I'm already in choir and dance but I guess that isnt enough. What other things can I do to become more well rounded? Preferably something that has to do with becoming a veterinarian.
