Is this a cold sore?

I have a bump on my lip on the side where the top and the bottom lip meet..
its just a bump and it doesnt look like a cold sore and it doesnt hurt or sting when I touch it..
is it a cold sore?
or just a cut that I bit from my lip er something?

Go to the doctor and figure out if it is herpes. Have you ever watched Flavor of love. Hotlanta had a bump on her lip but it turned out to be a pimple, But still get it checked out.

try putting carmex on it maybe? (that's if it's a cold sore). it sounds like a zit tho girl. sorry!

I don't have cold sores but everything I have read says that before they appear the person will have a low grade fever, you may not even notice it. My nursing book also says that the persons breath will have a distinctively foul odor. But then again I have never experienced one but I heard they are painful and what you described sounds like a cut, maybe you bit your lip in your sleep.

I don't know, I would have to look at it first.
