I don't really think coffee has anything in it that would stunt your growth but I still don't think you should drink coffee until you are done with puberty.

That's a myth. I drink coffee like it's water and I'm 5'5. Parents used to say that to their kids so they wouldn't drink too much caffeine which makes kids hyper and unable to fall asleep.

haha kinda funny because everybody always told me to drink coffee so I would stop growing... but I think its nasty and its horribly bad for you, I am currently 6'5... I think its a myth but if you put the pieces together it might be true in some other dimension connected with this one lol...

No idea to if there is scientific proof of it actually stopping you from growing.

I started drinking coffee when I was 12 and I still made it to 6 foot. I think that coffee stunting your growth is an old spouses tale.

As long as you aren't going overboard I wouldn't worry about it. I noticed that a lot of tweens and teens hang out at coffee shops because they aren't old enough to go clubbing and many of them drink a lot of coffee. Too much of anything can be bad for you.

From what I have read, it appears that the answer is no. The myth most likely resulted from some concern about the caffeine being a contributer to Osteoporosis and affecting the bone density.
Personally, I have a friend who is about 5'4, and he drink massive amounts of coffee, but he was also born very premature.
I have another friend who is even shorter, and she has never drank coffee in her life.
I think that is all hype myself. But there can be unpleasant side affects when not drunk in moderation.
