Civilization? or not?

Why do people think our civilization is so advanced, if it is only a Kardashev 0 Civilization, which really isn't a civilization because our psuedo civilization is so primitive that it doesn't even qualify as the lowest civilization which is Kardashev 1. It's so pathetic, in the words of Michio Kaku, a famous scientist that our civilization is so pathetic that we need to detonate a bomb to harness the power of hydrogen. I mean if you call bacteria a civilization than I guess you can call humanity a civilization, but why do people call them self advanced or intelligent life when they are not even a Kardashev 1 civilization, but a Kardashev 0 Civilization? So why do people think humaity is advanced, when it is actually pathetic?

I don't think our civilization is advanced, we've only been advancing for about 100 years in a Universe that is billions of years old. No wonder aliens don't waste time to make contact with us. they're probably new civilazations springing up, oh who knows the intervals. I actually wouldn't even consider tokyo "civilization like". Regardless I see no reason for your constant belittling of the human race. It's kind of annoying.

Not entirely sure what you're talking about, and Im guessing most people wouldnt rate us on whatever scale you are talking about...

And I've never heard bacteria being called a civilization...

Uhm I think what seperates us from bacteria is that most bacteria and other living creatures are forced to adapt to their environment, while we change our environment to suit us...

Well, this is the Kardashev scale and we rate as a Type 0 Civilization because we are primitive, pathetic, uncivilzied savages. It's the truth. Kardashev pointed this out himself. The fact that you and most people don't even know what Kardashev civilizations are just goes on to further prove my point as to how pathetic and primitive our civilization is!

Now look, first of all not knowing how some Russian guy classified our civilization does not make people pathetic or primitive, and honestly, who cares how he classified it...

Also, if these people were so smart maybe they should have done something about advancing civilization instead of sitting around criticizing it...
