Christmas presents. . . . .

I know it's a little early, but I have no idea what to get my dad for christmas??? All my other family members where easy, but not him! I dont want to get him something cheezy like I did last year(gift card to bass pro shop). Some of the things he likes...

are - fishing, hunting, grilling out, and riding horses. And suggestions???

a new fishing equip?

go hunting with him... do something more energetic. people like your father would no appreciate many materialistic things overall... so a good bond would be better...

kill a bear. go somewhere else than your normal hunting spot...

just dont get him a tie or socks!!

This is from a dad. Tell him you'll pay for the gas and the bait and go fishing with him. Guarantee he'll like it. You might offer to cook the catch for him as well. Even if you screw it up, he's going to like it. And what he will like the best is spending time with you, best gift a kid can give a dad.

I thought of that, but the thing is im about 3 months pregnant, so I wouldnt want to smell fish! lol

Find something the two of you can do together. You're 1st trimester you can't do too much physical activity (horseback riding, motorcycles etc). but there is something in your two lives that can come together. Or even tolerate something he likes to do that you're not wild about.

the idea, is be with him. I still contend it is the best present. And you can stand up wind from the fish. And by the way. Fresh fish cooking on a campfire, doesn't smell like fish. It is when the fish is old it smells like fish.
