Christmas gifts

Ok... this question is an addition to my last one about the Christmas shopping. So he says that he already got me something. And he told me to surprise him. Thing is... I have no idea what to get him. He already has like everything... he's like richh....

And I can't really afford to get him anything pricey at the moment- being I don't have a job.
What are some typical things that a guy would like for Christmas that isn't real pricey?

I hate to be cheesy but in this circumstance it's the thought that counts
make him something, it means more than anything you could ever buy.

How about a charity type gift (e.g. a goat for a 3rd world family, or sponsor a rhino)
