Chiuhauha eating a bone

My 4 pound chuihuaha ate a quarter size lamb bone just swallowed it now she is panting not eating and looks sick uncomfortable should I worry

I would definitely call your vet immediately. Bones often leads to a serious impaction and constipation, requiring a trip to the veterinarian. Bones can also be a choking hazard and can cause possible intestinal bleeding if the bone shards break off and tear the intestinal lining.

What to Watch For:

- Struggling to breathe
- Straining to go to the bathroom
- Bloody diarrhea
- Pawing at the mouth
- Lack of appetite
- Vomiting

we had a chihuahua die from eating a bone yes if your pet is still alive go now don't stop just pass gooo good luck diane
