Is it a wise thing to draw with ink on a two year old?

Writing on your skin being fatal for you is sort of and exaggeration. Especially in today's time, almost all inks from pens are nontoxic. But just because something is nontoxic doesn't mean the chemicals used to create the ink are 100% safe. If the 2 year old licks the ink or ingests large amounts of it, it could be poisonous.

However, things like permanent markers should always be avoided, especially on a younger child's skin. The Sharpie company even warns against use on skin, so it's best to avoid that all together. There are some markers and inks that are skin-safe sold at places like Wal-mart or craft stores, so if it's something the child enjoys you should look into buying those inks.
