If you don't enjoy other peoples kids, don't try to babysit. When you have your own kid, it is so much different. I am very selective about kids that I spend time with. Most little kids annoy me, but my own kiddo is the bees knees!

Same as nerd said, I enjoyed my lil sis but other peoples bebes I don't like. Babysitting doesn't sound like something for you. If you have no choice but to babysit for work make sure you get plenty of rest so you don't crack. As for your own kid, don't fret that, all those nice mommy hormones will kick in and you will be just fine!

I've been around loads of babies and babysat loads of times starting from when I was about 12.your name says 1992 so im guessing your about 16, the same age as me.all I can say is dont be afraid of trying, babies are more afraid of us than we are of them so just try spending more time wiht the babies and small kids in your family first and then ask for some local babysitting jobs, dont do all nighters at first, just do a few hours at a time, get used to it and soon you'll be a pro!

if your expecting a baby of your pwn then I would take that advice, because your guna need sum practice.

good luck and congrats if your expecting!

fun mail me if you want to talk. always here.

you should DEFINITELY get some experiance watching other people's kids...if you're 16, youre going to need some cash when your baby is born. im 14 and I teach a sunday school class with my mom and I babysit too, and I earn money and it looks good on college apps and stuff like that. their moms and dads are good for letters of recommendation. hope this helps; funmail me anytime.
